The power bill will be huge. What about the pool inside an enclosure (indoor pool)and using heat pumps to heat the air in the enclosure. I think water likes to sit around a couple of degrees below amb. temperure.

I got guppies in a kids blow up swimming pool, approx 1000 litres. Do they need feeding or is mozzies and other naturally occuring things enoough?

Sounds like an excellent fix up project for me then. My girlfriend won't let me buy a big tank , But there wouldn't be a problem for a free fix up tank.

I would like to have the tank!! A bit of elbow grease to clean it up, I'll be happy as Larry.

LFS guy reconmend waiting a least 3 months after setting up a new tank before adding neons. And the cories would have more fun in a bigger group, at least 5. They are like a pack of dogs, very funny. Especially when they chase/dance each other up and down the glass.

Alot of fish in Hamilton fish stores are of a poor quality. I have given up buying fish from LFS. I like to buy fish from local people better.

Will Kokopu take dry food? Would like to keep some too, But I don't always have access to live food.

Not much chance of getting any amount of rainwater this time of year. I am wanting rain water too, to try an trigger a spawning.

Maybe I need to invented and market a muzzle guard for fish. They have em for dogs.

If you have added chemicals to the tank, maybe the orgamisism living in th gravel have died off and are now fungusing causing irratation to your fish. Try strip cleaning the tank and see if there is any improvement. -
