Still a bit murky but alot better than before: I'm going to source some nice rocks for the foreground and then try decide if I want driftwood or not...

Yes i would remove the piece at the front right side, perhaps replace it with 3 rocks spaced apart

Ph is about 6.3 / 6.4, I gave it several hosing downs before it went in and then changed about 20% of the water a few days after it had been in :dunno:

By dummy i mean just a cheapo fish that wouldn't matter if it died or not :digH:

So I decided to test the water and added a dummy fish, swam around happily for about an hour or 2 and then slowly stopped swimming and more or less started drifting :dead%fish . Might need to drain the tank and refill? (could be the resin leaching chemicals? sand?) I've added some carbon for now incase it is chemicals so I can start removing them. Only other thing I added was "sera" crystal to help filter out the cloudyness, could that be the problem?
