  1. Thanks Barrie, will look into that. Any idea on a retail price of those? Are they a Canon Genuine part or after market?
  2. I didnt realise that these were blackworms. I will have to see if I can grow some. My fish love them.
  3. Have not looked at that link yet, will do so tonight. I looked at www.dpreview.com Im only really wanting an entry level camera. I am not going to be paying retail so works out at a price I can afford right now. Im not too worried about resale value. It will be handed down if I upgrade in the future. Thanks for all the suggestions so far people. I will let you know how I go with the demo one canon are sending me.

  6. My Canon Rep is sending me one to play with for the next month so will have a look. I dont do huge amount of photography, but I take my camera with me most places I go. I also want to be able to do macros. I realise I will require a Macro lens but that can come later. If I had a better camera I would be using it alot more than I use my current Fuji S series point and shoot. I did study photograpy at school but this was before DSLR were available. I do have two standard SLRs for sale if anyone is interested.

  13. Any of you other who were there who took photos, please post them up. Have you thought of starting one Carlos? Ours isnt so much a club, rather a group of fish geeks who meet once a month. Very informal but its fun
  14. Today we went and saw tanks from our Feilding member Aquaplod, and Bulls members Ryanjury and Bilbo. We started in Feilding where Aquaplod had a huge 8 foot African Cichlid tank. The tank is so big that there is an electric hoist to lift the lid on and off for maintainance. We were treated to coffee and sausage rolls and cake while we sat back and viewed the tanks. The room was not big enough for all so we waited our turn. In pic from left, P44, Aquila, Bronze Dragon and Bilbo P44 with his head in the way. Looking at Bilbo's Apisto's BBS Hatchery Next we went to Ryanjury's place to look at his large collection of African Cichlids and other various fish. Ryans fishroom was almost bursting at the seams with tanks Ryan Holding his Daughter and discussing something with P44 Tropheus Mixed African Tank Oscars A pair of wild Kribs, Mother on wrigglers

  21. Should be fine in a 400litre tank. They are messy so good filtration is a must.
