there are 3 of those in my lfs, they don't know what they are either.

they were in a tank with fish half their size up until a month ago & didn't show any colour. they are kow in the main tank with larger fish but no change.

i made a custom hood out of plywood with cut outs for a custom light & piping for a canister. its works alot better without the factory hood.

i reckon the best mod i ever did to a car was fitting HUGE brakes. being able to brake hard & late makes it a real driving experience. When i say HUGE, i have 13" (330mm) discs & 4 pot calipers. You won't need to go to that extreme but performace brakes will make a big difference.

i cant remeber exactely how the AFM works, but dosn't it heat excess air to keep the air/fuel mix right?

you may want to flag the idea of a pod, just change the standard pad with a k&n. in 97 when i had my 90 gtx they were $228 each & probably more now. Maybe the newer ones won't fail, someone else may have or didn't have any fail.

adding a pod filter & doing extractors will increase power but will also most likely improve your fuel economy under normal use as the engine will flow better as it isn't as restricted. I don't know too much about rice burners, does it have an air flow meter or map sensor? a map sensor will be fine but i did have a gtx familia that kept blowing air flow meters after i added a pod filter. an air flow meter lets the right amount of air mix with the fuel. a map sensor adds the right amount of fuel to the air which simply means more air, more fuel & therefore more power. I don't agree that modifications decrease the value on this type of vehicle, if it was collectable it would.

it does soundlike they fitted spacers for front wheel drive offset rims to fit a rear wheel drive car. Thats proabaly why they are cheap, can't sell & fit them legally!

my work car which is a new ford focus does almost 50km per tank more on 95 than on 91 & runs alot better to. My old SS commie that has a big offset cam etc misses terribly on 91 at low revs so 95 it is for me!

i needed one in a hurry so made it from a wire coat hanger & the netting material used for vales etc. I bent the coat hanger to the tank size & cut a strip of filter wool to seal between the wire & the glass. Worked well.

i introduced a clown that was half the size of my others & they got along well from day one. it is now only slightly smaller than the larger ones, they are about 4 inches now.

ah, i'm getting out of selling & going dairy farming in the next few weeks. Can't wait, its not like it used to be. You get every second weekend off, sometimes more & its a job outside to.

we go camping the week before xmas for two to three weeks. itmakes xmas quite low key & saves on buying alot of pressies & reduces stress almost completely.

i don't see obama as a "black president", i see him as a "younger president" with fresh ideas. He is an educated man who is a great speaker & appears to me to be a "good operator" but whether or not he will do a good job will be seen in the coming year.
