"lets get real here". you said it. frogs are in decline. breed your own live food or buy from someone who has. just because some people on tm claim their tadpoles are captive bred, doesnt mean theyre not coming from the local pond either frogs arnt easy to breed, not worth it for livefood, stick to your pinkies, crickets and locusts.... I have fed a small number of deformed frogs (captive bred) to my dragons, they dont seem to like them unless theyre very small which ='s bugger all benfit to the dragon anyway. I have a feeling the bigger frogs actually secrete something (maybe just no1's) as the dragons spit them out in disgust.

price wise slingshot seem ok. customer service can be a joke though, i got cut off for some unknown reason a few months back, they reckon it was a fault, took them 3 attempts to get it working again (over a week later). Then they tell me, sorry old plan no longer available...send me out a welcome package :roll: . Ive only been a customer for a couple of years already. Now on same plan only more expensive :evil: was not happy. Gave up trying to make sense of the overseas customer service, $%#$%# muppets. :lol: otherwise with out that drama, its been all good lol

Could use an undergravel filter, powered with your air pump. they blend in ok. If you want to do the right thing this time around, go chuck the bowl on the pavement seriously though, without a filter your asking for trouble. Bowls look good but thats about where it ends imo.

would be the same with flyscreen to wouldnt it? your suppose to have 50mm between the inner and outer layer of mesh. maybe a smaller mesh (10-12mm squares should be good) on the outside so cats cant get there paws in?

Good stuff. For the inner mesh, apparently whitebait netting is the way to go, just paint it black. (apparently stronger than fly screen)

Not stupid at all. You obtain them from other permit holders who have excess from breeding etc.

warehouse plants, they have all sorts yep need misting once or twice a day. just a standard fish tank light seems ok, could go with a proper reptile tube with low uv output but i havent bothered.

Theyre neat frogs, dont destroy plants as much as the bigger bell frogs. So can have a nice setup. Eat most bugs, moths, flies, slaters, crickets and locusts etc. Big as you like, but 60cmx30cmx30cm is probably enough for 3/4 frogs i suppose. Exo terra make nice tanks if you have the money to splash out on one. thats a 45cmx45cmx60cm high. I have about 10-15frogs in there. Just need lots of food to keep them all happy lol

Whistling tree frogs only get to 4/5cm, tadpoles should be around in the next month or so. The other two species of bell frog get upto 10cm.

If you mean a tank for tadpoles to turn into frogs, thats all good. Just need an easily accessible land area. Just dont get big frogs and then add tadpoles, as they morp onto land the bigger frogs may just have them for lunch

Tumeke I wonder if its like exotics, people just dont want to disclose what they have for fair of dropkicks who think they can help them selves.
