  5. Still want one? you can have the smaller one if you like, seems to have one pedipalp missing but otherwise she's all good. Imagine the photos you could get on that new camera lol
  6. Hey thanks for that Skip. Ill have to find a male by the looks of things. Then hopefully she doesnt kill it. check out the pedipalps on my big one (same 1 thats upsidedown). Theyre more like an extra leg than anything
  7. They dont seem to agro really, more scared/nervous (dont blame them with my mug staring at them). First pic is of my larger one, she was playing dead for a few minutes. above arnt housed together, just put them together to get a pic for comparison. almost look slightly different..
  8. i dunno about that, theyre big enough for me i almost let it walk across my hand but thought better of it  mines 30mm despite most sites saying body upto 24/25mm i was given another recently which is a bit smaller. would be fascinating to breed (i cant help myself lol), looks like ive got a couple of females, or atleast no obvious bulbs on palps.
  9. oh yea, thats easy it loves being handled, doesnt rare up like its psycho at all. cheers, ill go an check out its palps.
  10. Does anyone know how to tell if i have a male or female. Or just how to tell the difference, i cant find much online.. Nice setup Antwan, i like the mosses
  11. thats what i thought..so even though its been a mission crossing out to normal green frogs, they should be stronger than ever. ive got another female which i beleave is unrelated, she will be added to the gene pool this summer aswel.
  12. pass... mean tattoo though, must of felt interesting getting that done?
  13. Yeah, maybe a good idea to cull the green ones. Turtles love tadpoles, dragons love frogs. Otherwise just keep them captive as pets. Dont release them.
  14. this is my setdown I feed pinhead crickets, just drop on the driftwood, the newts are eating in and out of the water. Duckweed helps to give the crickets somethign to walk/cling on when they end up in the water. Works a treat, fruitflies would be much the same id imagine. Ive only just upt the water level, following sneaky's advice from another thread. They seem sweet as. I keep it simple like that because anything more and you never see the little blighters. Fits nicely on my work bench to Once they get abit more size on ill upgrade the tank or just move them on. Could almost keep an adult pair in there, but would really need to keep up with the wc's.
  15. We know deep down you want a beardie HJ, its ok to admit it here
  16. I like the caves. very crafty Dont plecs need/like driftwood?
  17. Hi Jason Thats exactly how i beleave the genetics to work, i just want to prove it now.
  18. the other one is where you go for time out, its like the naughty corner
  19. nice lizard, looks like he/shes well traveled
  20. Cheers mate, next week i could well be minister.
  21. why not release some turtles in there. with a tracking device, scoop them out later aligator. genius
  22. Alan - Thats no good mate. My original 3 female still going strong, must be close to 3 y/o now. Were purchased as adults though, so I wonder if they missed any interference to render infertile (if thats even possible with females). Please let me know if you have any luck with the splits i sold you. Ive had split over albino...yet to get split over split to spawn. The males seem to jump my albinos first if given a choice. Dont blame them the albinos are lookers lol Should be interesting to see what split x split produce. Navarre - no worries man, i took your post as a positive. I was just having a laugh with my post (maybe ive got a warped sense of humour) .
