  1. feed them goldfish, not to the goldfish
  2. Here an enclosure i built earlier this year before i sold 90% of my reptiles.. Was going to be 4 levels, but i got carried away and did 6  Its hardly been used  , should have paid the bills after all lol. Old turtle setup, coverted for water dragon, which outgrew it way to fast  Planned on upgrading again to double the height, but sold the water dragon instead. Now a couple of random frogs and stray plants until further a do.. Thats about as good as it gets around here. Hope to make a display tank some day.
  3. Good on ya for keeping positive, thats the best way to be
  4. it really is amazing how things can change colour, and very fast in most cases. was wondering the other day how beardies can change their beards to pitch black within seconds..
  5. lol, was going to say i know where youve been lerking
  6. I came across that only a couple of hours ago 8)
  7. The chameleon looks like those feral ones i see everywhere, originally came from some old aviary. Or so the rumour goes  Nice bd too. heres a $1 beardie I saw many moons ago.
  8. Your not wrong there. In her case it was...time + kids = goodbye world :-?
  9. looks similar to what javamoss grows like outdoors, then again ive never been sure if ive got, java or xmas (had both in past) isnt there a native moss similar aswel..
  10. i havent got any grey areas to show thankfully  this was pretty grey when i last saw it though
  11. Read above doc, thanks Stella. And posts, it does seem like a very well thought out and effective way to get rid of the pests. Almost seems to good to be true 8) Whats the treatment period thats been proposed? I assume its long enough to kill any potential trout/perch spawn. I dont think i read anything mentioned about how it would effect the spawn. Anyway as long as its used correctly, it sounds like a good way to go. Zealandia looks like an amazing place, its now on my ever growing list of places to visit
  12. im fully natural to, but that doesnt mean i cant cause havoc
  13. Who knows, apparently the last guy who was running eps went to Aus to. Ive sent a pm to Tyson on here. No reply. Asked on the forum and he hasnt replied...yet
  14. glad someone read those posts lol Im not informed enough to make a judgement. Would be nice to think there was a more natural approach to getting rid of them though.
  15. I dare say they would. Not sure how safe they are though, had someone else ask me that recently.... Be all good without the shell, but i dont fancy trying to de-shell them.
  16. Afternoon Yep, same as frogs. Best as a treat imo. They will take crickets, locusts and worms and so on.. Wouldnt worry about the "just after they shed" thing. More important is having hydrated worms prior to feeding out I think. Feed carrot for atleast 6hours prior. That way the mealworms arnt so hungus. Just a random theory of mine
  17. Yeah, has been harder to get results than I originally thought thats for sure. Its all very interesting, a few more spawns should show a clearer picture.
  18. Been a long time since ive seen so many snails and slugs in one spot. Skinks will be happy for some weeks to come
