  1. theyre all relatively easy, once you work out the hard stuff some take more attention than others. more often than not the live food takes more attention than the pet your feeding them to. On the other hand sort of unavoidable given the expense to buy in all the time. flies are good breeders (little smelly), but both flies and mealworms are lowish on the nutritional side. crickets and locusts are good staples, everything else good for variety. thats more or less how i see it anyway.
  2. sure will. its only a few hundred dollars worth of livefood, per head to get each one upto full size. or atleast thats what i roughly work it out to be

Not really, runs over it if i blow air at it lol Male in the last two pics was actually eaten by the female up top, :facepalm: some women, i kid you not :lol: She's only in a small tank and the water area is only a cup or two of water, will have to make something bgger and see if i can get her to go fishing
  4. Few reports of upto three years, most likely in the wild though. Ive had some breed at 6months old, could have fed more too . Should be good and ready for breeding at about 12-18months old, in captivity.

  8. I dropped out of college about ten years ago, no regrets at all. Starting Uni next Monday, should be interesting to say the least
  9. a few have the red dot on their head this season. one in the first pic has two, one in the second pic has four dots (hasnt come up very well in pic) the other variable i see, is that some have a black line around the red ear, some dont.

  16. could be, some one else may know more. the one that i had float was like it had air in it. was really off balance. think it passed on after a few days.
  17. i had one start floating once when temp got high. so :dunno: that temp is plenty cool enough.
