  1. I find just wetting down the dirty smudges (spray bottle/hose) atleast 10mins prior to actually trying to scrub it, helps alot.

  6. anyone know what these are? fly pupa of some sort or .. found in the foot hills. under a rock, ants were gathering them up and taking into their tunnels

  12. i put a little koura in there a couple of months back . it made its way up stream to the pond on the left, stayed there (made a mess of my landscaping) about a week, then moved back down to the right hand side where it currently resides. hoping the koura will keep vegetation to a mimimum in the stream

  14. its the small stuff on the right of the big leafed one... anyone know what it is?
  15. great enclsoure Jason. my frog tank is evolving 18th jan tonight
  16. is decholrinator safe for axolotls? i would be cautious using it with amphibs....but maybe it is safe.. could just let the water sit in a bucket overnight. put an airstone in if possible. i just use water straight out of the tap, chlorine never done any harm here
  17. insects to a frog - would almost be a crime not to use live imo. the world is simple if you want it to be
  18. if they were tsd then the splits should all be male too.....
  19. knobtale - the point is the frogs probably should produce albinos in a simple world, but they are not and i never guaranteed they would. i dont know why they do what they do, just know what they do is what they do. you dont have to understand it, not sure anyone does just yet, but it is the way it is. if people are reasonable, give me time, and everything goes well (breeding wise). when possible i plan to offer an albino to each person who purchased 'splits' as a gesture of good will. may take some time, may not, will do so asap.
  20. wonder if it has to do with me not opening the container for over a week.. normally open atleast once a week but didnt bother with this lot. your right they dont look overly moist, the other container i setup at the same time was on the dry side. this lot is damper but not wet. if twin albino's pop out ill be ok with it i suppose
