So, even though everyone on the thread has said no, he is still going to do it. THATS why some people dont wanna help. Yep nice fighters mate Oscarboy, i take it you are talking about the last pic? Its wool. Used as a spawning mop for killies. They lay their eggs in it then you pick them out of it and put them into some water and in 10-14 days they will hatch. Oh and aaron. I see you've been to visit Barrie? I can tell by the picture you have stuck onto the front of the tank :lol:

Keep looking all through your gardens and stuff. A mate had his large RES go walkabout and we found it a couple days later in his garden munching away at some plants. hope you find her!

I've done motor swap before, just not by myself :lol: Dropping it out the bottom does sound pretty easy, but i guess lifting it out the top wouldn't be much different realy would it..... I will see when the time comes 8) -

Its a honda accord. Sounds like a good plan actually. Lift the whole front end up on two axle stands, undo the sub frame that has engine mounts on it, undo other engine mounts, auxillarys etc, crane engine to floor, lift car well into air, slide old engine out, change gearbox etc over, slide new engine in, drop car onto engine, lift engine into car, do up bolts, bing, bang, bong, next please Thanks anthony you rule :lol: -

Your fish will be fine as long as your NITRATE is 20 or under. 0 ppm nitrate is unheard of :lol: Some people run tanks with higher nitrates, even up to 40-60 and the fish are fine, just depends on the other levels. 5ppm is nothing to be afraid of. NITRITE is different, and should be 0

Yea its Front wheel drive. So you reckon drop everything out the bottom? (i was gunna crane it out the top, dont realy wanna touch the sub frame etc....) Only time we've ever dropped an engine out the bottom in when its a major and we have a hoist.... dont think i could do it at home :-? :lol: Looks like its leaning toward taking g-box and engine out at same time.... dang :lol:
