i can see why people use the liner, fiberglass ponds are expensive

woah those backgrounds are mega costly to buy and you have enough for a 6ft pic of it when you're done.....not sure where you're going to put 3 heaters since the juwel tanks has the heater in with the filter... maybe get a sump and put the heaters in that?

thanks for all the tips, i think i will go and have a look at some fiberglass ones this weekend and see what is available lol i cant build anything with my hands tim :lol:

i'm wanting to setup a pond, nothing crazy like Caryl one maybe 3m x 2m sizing is not confirmed yet i have a few questions 1. fiberglass pond or pond liner from bunnings? which is better? 2. do you put gravel at the bottom of the pond or leave it bare? 3. cant really get power outside, has anyone used one of those solar powered fountains before? cheers

i'm no angel guru but doesnt look like altum to me i knew animates has some in, good bronze colour but the body shape wasnt the greatest

fx5 is good for non messy fish, it works great on my discus tank but not that well in my arowana tank or overstocked tank

i would get the eheim, two filters is always better than one and eheim is better built than fluval my eheim 2080 blows my fx5 out of the water in media capacity

hi i'm looking for a pink coloured 4ft T5 tube, anyone know of a brand or place i could get one Sylvania Grolux tubes would be perfect but they dont come in T5 form Cheers

cool, i wont have any worries from using hot water from the tap

how are you guys warming up the water? boiling a jug or straight from your hot water cylinder ? the only reason i ask is i have heard of people using water from the hot water cylinder but i always believe the hot water isnt safe due to corrosion and bacteria living in the cylinder
