how big is the tank he is in at HFF? maybe the tank is too small for him?
they sit or float(swims in the same spot without moving) when they are stressed.
like everyone says, you can just adjust the flow on the fx5 to suit him
$1700 and its only a 1.83GHz processor, 1GB Ram and a shared video card all that adds up to old spec, it will be ok if it was running XP but with vista you really need at least core duo2, 2.0Ghz CPU with at least 2GB of ram
like you say everything will be vista in a next year or so. So its best to spend a little bit more and get a laptop that would run vista well than run it so so...
i bought a pair from animates about a year ago and within half a day of owning them they laid eggs and continue laying every couple of weeks
every batch the eggs never hatched
welcome to the joy of breeding discus
yes they do eat their own egg and sometime even their own fry. it might take them a few times before learning to be good parents
sony has a smaller version which has about the same function called the H3
sony h3, h7 and h9 are good cameras but if you are after something smaller maybe a sony T series
canon, fuji and sony are all good cameras, canon being the best but sony being the best looking
oh i didnt see this thread before but good to hear you got it sorted
for me, engine and box i would go top out. G/box alone i would drop from the bottom
