my clown knife is called Ba'al because, if you catch him in the right light, his eyes glow my son named his angel Anubis (unfortunately he passed away a few weeks ago and his replacement hasn't been named yet) the axy is named Kree we also have 2 cats called Loki and Thor so, 10 points to the person who can guess where we got the names from :lol:

mine has a bamboo tube. he loves it (to the point he and the fry have eaten the end out of it)

it's worse when you watch a female guppy drop a fry, then turn around and eat it!

there could be a couple of problems in your tank. 1, the original infection 2, and the stress coat, stress zyme, tonic salt and furan2 could be causing a chemical reaction your fish can't handle

he does lunge at his steak pieces when i feed him, sometime not even letting me get it into the water, so he's gulping in air too. i though he may just have a bit of 'wind'

i have read that Barley Straw is good for eliminating that sort of algae.

temp is around 19 degrees at the moment

my axy is floating in its tank. could it be from gulping air when it eats as it was fine earlier today, just started this evening when it was being feed TIA

i just break my zucchini in half, jam a teaspoon in each piece and drop into the 2 tanks that need it

Khuli's eat guppy fry! thats how i managed to run out of guppies once, my khulis had eaten all tmy fry, so there was no population growth. i didn't realize until i lost an adult male one day and noticed i had none left.

HELP!!! i have just noticed that my black ghost knifes (Zippy) tail is broken. He is (well used to be) 18cm long. lives in a 4ft tank, temp 27 degrees, filter fluval 204, no lights gravel is a corse sand, 3 pieces of driftwood, a few small pieces of java fern (the only plant it won't destroy, lol) Tank mates: 2 x chocolate talking catfish (raphael cats) and 1 x 25cm approx Clown Knife (Ba'al) all of these fish have been living together for the last 2 yrs without incident. am i correct in assuming that Ba'al tried to take a bite from Zippy? I am aware that the tank they are in is not suitable as a permenant home for either, and it will not be used as such Also, any hints on what i can do for zippy and his tail? PHOTOS: sorry they're not that good

i've had 2 cats picked up by the spca and there was no charge. though in one case they were told to come get it or my other half will put a spade through its neck, as they were unwilling to pick up and said i would have to wait (and keep the cat contained) for up to a week. that was never going to happen.
