    Power Cuts

 Sam, I could just imagine someone doing that  We were without power for 5 Days when the Big Storm hit last year, Fish coped OK, ended up going out to buy a generator after 3 days, didn't lose any Fish. Not sure how I would have got on if I had my Discus way back then though :-? Dont have to worry about that now, have had the generator wired into the Mains, so all I have to do now is Flick a switch over to generator and were all up and running again :bounce:

  8. I had 2 Sons in the same week have to get their Wisdom Teeth out. One of them had to have 4 wisdom teeth and 4 other teeth out, before he had his braces Poor Boys, have to say they both coped very well. Looks like I now have another Boy that needs his out, bottom ones are horizontally impacted, so will be a general anasethic for him. He just about passes out at the sight of Blood so will see how he goes with this
  9. I used to have a Opossum Joey as a Kid, my Uncle was an Opossum Trapper, didn't realise he had Killed one with a Joey, so brought it home and we raised it, have to say it was one of the Coolest Animals I've had. Turned into a Right little Terror at night time, used to run up the Curtains, swing off the lampshades, he used to sleep in the Hot Water Cupboard during the Day. They ended up moving to Hastings, Rented a House that was in front of an Orchard, he disappeared once they moved there, I think he may have found himself a Lady Friend Did anyone see the program on TV1 a few weeks back, it was about the couple that have an Opossum for a pet, they have a whole room decked out with artifical grass and Tree Branches everywhere, looked great.
  10. Now that's a Classic alright, maybe he might turn out to be a Movie Star, the cat I mean

  12. Speaking of Vasectomies Alan, I stood and watched my Husband have his a few years back, I found it very interesting Then just recently, I watched one of my Son's have all 4 of his Wisdom Teeth taken out, have to say that was rather Brutal

  17. We had an Awesome Family Day at Manfield, Racing today :bounce: One of my Boys and I decided to head over to Palmy after the Racing, to do abit of Clothes Shopping, while heading there, Son was following Mum, Mum passed 2 Pukeko's on the side of the Road, as I approached the one closest to the Road sort of stepped back, So I'm driving along, singing away to my favourite CD, when I thought Hmmm, thats weird wheres Hayden gone, so thought to myself, Ohh well, he's probably taken the other turn off and we'll meet up in Palmy. Next minute my Cellphone rings and it's Hayden, so I ask him "Where have you gone" he replies "A stupid Bird just flew onto my Car can you come back", so I headed back to see him, here was this Beautiful Pukeko wedged in the Front Grill of his Car Hayden says "I ain't touching it" Mum replies "It's ok Matey, he's Dead" he replies "Yea Well I still aint touching it" So here I am, in the Pouring Rain trying to disentangle his Whooping Big Bird out of the Grill of his Car  Got there in the End with abit of Pulling and Tugging, poor thing, Thank Goodness it was Dead, goodness know's what I would have done it was still alive I guess looking on the Bright Side of this, at least the Bird didn't cause Hayden to have an Accident :-?
