mirror always seems to work and some people find changing the aquascape helps, even moving a couple major rocks temporarily.

the secret is to add enough red seaweed so that it grows faster than the tang can eat it , the scientific formula is; x=y-z+2 x is the seaweed required y is the amount of seaweed put in z is the amount Mr Tang eats 2 is the nominal value of excess seaweed suprised that puttputt didnt know this :roll:

ive done 80% water changes in my isolation tank every day for 3-4 days to combat some problems (similar fish types) just make sure you match S.G. , ph and temp.

i talk to alot of people that have these types of systems installed. there is one company that seems to stick out in regards to all sorts of complaints . the various problems all start at the management level. by the way im DVS positive and very happy :lol:

trim the tail or fins to remove the bite marks (use scissors) try using those " zig zag' type scissors to make a new varient of fish never seen before.

all this sounds like a good excuse to sit on your hands and not treat drastically. there is good evidence to support the case that fish develop immunity over time. hopefully see a reduction in no's. you have got the skimmer from hell and some good w/c's wouldnt hurt.

is it cheaper to get a small wife or a big skimmer?? steve, that skimmer will work alot better if its sitting vertically. surprised you didnt know that ....8)
