  1. If this is a L114 it is available at the moment.
  2. Naughty girl :lar: Nice looking tank by the way. Ron
  3. Peppered cory are not the hardiest of corys. I've had quite a few drop dead when I got them.
  4. I would say that the small kribs are locally bred. Don't think importer will import them because they are not the easiest fish to sell and there are heaps of locally bred one that hardly anyone wants. Ron
  5. Hobbyist/breeder is quite different from people that import and sell for profit.
  6. All the unanswered questions might be contacts given out breaching trademe rules? Asking people to view so he can sell direct without paying TMe fees and no records of sales so no risk of getting caught for not paying taxes?
  7. Are you able to prick a pinhole on the bubble to let the air out? Might be easier.
  8. What filter is in the tank? Might be in the filter.
  9. Same fish and it make you wonder how much the guy selling the fish knows about arowana.
  10. Everyone want top quality fish but don't want to pay the high price for them. Importer is not going to bring in high price fish if they can't sell them. Not a lot of people will pay $$$ for a quality fighter when they can get all those rubbish crossing being bred in NZ for $5.00.
  11. Use an airline to siphon them into a bucket.
  12. Or you can get a bottle of TLC start smart . The current in your tank might be too strong for the poor fighter. I would put the fighter in a container /bottle and float it in the tank for the fish to recover.
  13. Both of them are fine in 26 degree . I got hengeli in my discus tank at 28 deg.
  14. look like you got a pair wanting to breed. Let them do it and see if any eggs hatch.
  15. What is a skating compensation?
  16. Under the consumer guaranties act if a device malfunctions in a way that is unexpected (eg. not from wear and tear) the store must replace the device and any damage it caused because it malfunctioned. eg. dead fish. I believe the store can then get reimbursed by the supplier and in the end manufacturer but not sure about this part.
  17. That was about 8 years ago.
  18. You were lucky to have store credit for fish. The shop only replace the faulty heater and don't want to compensate me for the loss of dead fish even though I brought the bag of dead fish to show them.
  19. I had a whole tank of discus cooked by a brand new 300w jager heater once. The heater was set at 28 deg and the thermometer was showing 37 deg . The heater was still on. Lost $$$$ and gutted. Expensive heater do cook the fish too. Ron
  20. How long have you neglected the tank? Reason I ask is if you have been maintaining the tank and doing water changes I don't see how it could get to this stage. If that was my tank I would clean everything out and start all over again. Ron
