  1. I just do it the old fashion way. Put some fish in and a bottle of start smart.
  2. - Does your water contain chlorine?*Yes - Do you use a dechlorinator?*Yes, Prime. Better safe than sorry. Fish - priceless, Prime - mastercard - Do you know where your water comes from, if so do you know the average levels (eg residual chlorine) in your water supply? No (EG. Mine comes from Ardmore and Waikato, and according to the 2013 Water Report their averages are, in mg/L, 1.10, 0.95 and 0.97) - How old is your tank?new to 10 years + - Does your use of dechlorinator change based on the "maturity" of the tank? No Ron
  3. Baby discus need lots of food and water changes so they can grow well and not ended up being runts. Best to get them a tank by themselves to grow them up. A 100 litres tank will be enough for the 30 odd baby with a daily 25% water change. At 5 weeks old they should be big enough to eat colorbit pellets and finely grated ox heart.
  4. They can be left with the parents. Make sure you do lots of water changes .
  5. Did it happen out of the blue , after water change, after feeding ... Power cut during the night?
  6. I agree too. It could be something in the pond water that causes the allergic reaction. Ron

    Hey there!

Welcome and nice to meet you today. Ron
  8. If you put the control valve on to each line you can regulate the air flow and all of the filter will be going no problem.
  9. Did you put a regulator on each of the airline?
  10. Well done  Ron
  11. Male and female are equally aggresive towards the same sex. Three fish is never a good idea because if two gang or pair up the odd one out will get a hiding. 5 will be a better number to spread the aggression. Ron
  12. Nice photo and nice double tail betta  Ron
  13. I've used it too. Although it says only one treatment is needed, it takes 3-4 treatment to be effective in my experience. Ron
  14. They look like neon tetra to me. Kissing gourami will grow too big for the tank. Dwaft gourami will be more suited.
  15. I always make sure they scan the parcel when I drop them in.
  16. Yeah it's a bit of work but would be nice if someone breeds them.
  17. Are you going to breed the peru althum David?
