Jcricket
Congratulations, I am a big fan of these little guys. What are Pleco's generally like to breed? It would be something I would love to get into.
flatfish
Thanks. There are plenty of great articles on how to breed fancy plecos on Planet Catfish under each species page. They are a generally little harder to breed than common bristlenose. Some are reasonably straight forward, others are difficult, and some have never been bred in captivity. A couple of good ones to start with would be big band tigers (L140) or Colombian zebra plecos (L129).
Jcricket
Awesome thanks for the advice, I will do some research. Even common bristlenoses would be pretty awesome to breed so maybe I will start there, although I will definitely check our your recommendations. Plecos have my favourite personalities out of all my fish.
flatfish
Yep common bristlenose or GBAs are definitely a great species to start on although you may find them difficult to get of if you breed too many

Not worried about selling them but you're exactly right, no point breeding critters that don't have a good home to go to.
