firenzenz
About 20 fry left the cave this weekend. L400XL136- seems to be 2/3 of L400 markings but at 1cm probably to small to tell. Reason for mix-Necessity more than design

wee2
for sale ????
firenzenz
for sale ???? Probably not - I wouldn't see that they would have any real value, and at this stage best to keep them as a closed group I will post pics soon when they get a little bigger. I'm interested which patten dominates
flatfish
Hopefully you can cross one of the offspring to mum. A couple of backcrosses and you would effectively have L400's or at least some Hypans that are very close.
Navarre
most rare breed societys consider pure as f4. these would be f1 Good luck

We are unlikely to get any more L400's in the country so Firenznez could possibly develop something that was pretty close
firenzenz
Thats the plan!- There was talk of using L46 male- that'd be a cool mix All three of the species very similar morphically. She's first time Mum about 4yrs so should be no issues with her being around to cross back with one of her sons. First thing is to get young past the first month. Dad did kick them out a tad early, but that could be because 400 is back camped outside cave.

flatfish
Goodluck and it'd be great to see pics as they grow. Hopefully someone will try the same with one of the female snowballs.

Tropheus
Seriously!!!!!!! Is there no one else out there with L400 in the country? or are they just keeping quite. How many generations are needed to be bred back before a decent L400 is achieved?
Adrienne
I believe there are people with them however can you blame them for keeping it quiet? Email communications would be the best way to go among those with these. If I had them (which I very definitely do not), I would not publicise this due to the number of break ins I have had over the last couple of years.
