Deepsound
Very nice tank ! So quietful. You can also use 8000 K for a very white but still not blue color temperature. Anyway, don't swap them all at once. Do it progressively in order to allow your plants to accustom to the new spectrum and avoid algae invading your beautiful aquascape. Bilbo
Another option is the osram 880 skywhite tube they are 8000k and look really good but I think the 865 give pretty good growth and they are cheap. Tank looks great BTW.

myfishybuisness
well thought id do an update of this tank before i switch it all into a larger 4ft tank, on a sad note lost my female long finned bristenose tonight ( unknown causes, water is fine, tanks is clean, all fish healthy) i will post pics tomoro night if i get a chance as lights are out now, but i tried tonight , it is nearly impossible to get a decent pic of the harliquins, and the female cockatoos are photo bombers, but apart from this fish most the plants are doing OK, not amazing as my co2 system has a leak somewhere, i think it maybe the regulator (up, brand) anyone know where to get them tested , or have a suggestion why a full 7.5kg bottle was used over 3 weeked when it was on 4 bubbles a second? (also having trouble keeping it at 4 bubbles per second , it keeps speeding up? ) thanks in advance
