why is ph a problem?/
a ph of 7.8 to 8 is fine in a acro tank, it has been show that acros will grow faster.
refer fishes and corals by dieter brockmann.
Been using it for about 4 months, corals do open well.
Best is to open a few vials and add them to 1L of water, then dose 3 times a week, best not to over do it as it will add nutrients to the water if it is not used up.
That will never happen. we already get aquamedic and other skimmers that are made in china.
You are talking about two different markets,
also lot of the costs is tax, freight,
Sounds like it needs to be set correctly. i used a deltec hangon for some time and it skimmed no problem.
looking at your tank it looks like everything is doing well, especially the coralline algae.
Its a bit like someone telling me there is something wrong with a salifert test kit and finding out that it was used incorrectly
It is pretty good to hear some good feedback on these products,
It has been hard work to get hobbyist to finally understand what i have been going on for years that quality equipment is the way to go and cheaper in the long run.
It is interesting reading the old posts about a year ago and seeing all the seio lovers changing to streams and Deltecs.
I would not be using it if it was inacurate.
As good as a refractometer and probably slightly better as it allow for the tank temp when giving you a reading.
A Refractometer is still good tool.
I think the colours are pretty much real.Looks like the top photo has some green in it.
t5s tend to shows colours quite good compared to metal halides which wash the colours out a bit more.
Pretty impressive stuff.
