    common killies

There are a few available from a few of the NZKA members. In the shops, you can find them too, but the price there, is usually in the vicinity of $26.00. Looks like I better get my pairs to work again. We did have a member that was disappoited that more ppl didn't take advantage of his offer of $5.00 a fish. He told me that he wasn't going to give them away fair enough too. Alas, I hear he has given up breeding fish because of the greed of the shops he serviced, they kept on trying to knock his prices down too. $5.00 sounds pretty good for full size blue rams to me Ample room to make a profit and be cheaper than the shops getting them from the wholesalers. 21. You are talking salt aren't you Bri? If not, use a short piece of PVC piping about 300mm lon. They use it as a refuge. When the fish goes in Place a net over both ends, lift out. No stress for owner or fish. Alan
  22. If you mean the powder for the filters. Go to pool filter suppliers for it. It may not quite be as refined as 'VORTEX' powder. BUT, it does the job, and is SO MUCH cheaper. I use it and find it satisfactory. Alan
  23. Food, Food, and more food. Live too. Temperature during the summer will have to be watched. Where are you situated?? Alan
