I added my Powder blue last and yes very aggresive and you want a good stable tank, things like temp swings can bring on white spot and thats a pain. Mine had WS but got over it and is doing really well. I would recommend a Blue tang as they are good hardy fish.

My streem is alarm is going, the shaft does not turn freely. Are these easy to service? Can they be pulled apart?

I made a moon light setup today took 15min. This site tells all and is easy to follow. I would not expect the change in salt levels to cause this problem. 1.023 - 1.025 is not much of a swing really. Might be old age, how long have you had it? How long do they live?

I have done a water test KH8 1.025 480 CA 1350 Mg 0 PO4 (0 - 0.25) looks closr to 0 The air bubbles are in black stuff - not a lot but you can see the black.

I have lots of air bubbles in my sand. Any ideas? I am only dosing vodka daily at 1ml / 100l Am also using Biotim and Bio Digest nothing else. I still have green slime but it is less than before. thanks for comments

There is a product call Joes Juice which works well. You inject them and good bye. I killed heaps in one go and did not have any issuies. If you want to see your coarl Banded shrimp then get a moon light. I don't have one but do have a ceiling light above my tank which I turn on some time after lights out which allows me to veiw him well. Also I never have had a problem with a Coarl B shrimp and recommend them.

150 - 200L every month. I have been thinking of doing smaller water changes weekly but seems a pain in the arse.

I have just done a NSW water change and for the first time thinned it down after reading this post a day ago.... must do the right thing. Ah but the truth comes out that most people just pour NSW stright in.... I have alway just added NSW as is. Never had a problem.

I'm shocked.... but that is nature. Sorry for the loss I would be a little mad but what can you do? We all love the clown- anemone relashionship and many try and try to have this. Your anemone loves it home and wanted a good feed. Hope it doesn't have the taste for fresh fish whats next?
