Amazing! I agree 100% with you what a stupid thing for them to do ! new owner gets bored with them, tips them down the drain !

I use a Nikon coolpix 5700 , 5 megapixel, can be fully auto or fully manual, built in flash and also hotshoe for external flash. Great camera !

Our one tends to only move around/eat at night anthony , its rare we see it moving during the day, ours is fed pleco chips and whatever the others don't finish.

Sorry about the loses Caryl , but the 404 fliter is a good idea, it will have heaps of "good" Bugs to start the cycle with a hiss and a roar. Clean the tank completel first, add the 404 and rebuild the hideing places , you will have to watch for ammonia spikes so dayly water changes will be needed as it cycles. Good luck, and the yellow babies are your silver lining to a nasty black cloud If you lived closer we could house them till its cycled.
