  1. I'd like congratulate the many sucsesful breeders and to ask the people on this thread two very important question, How many of you are Club and FNZAS members and how many of you have bothered to register your breeding with the Federation ? and if not WHY NOT ? :-? :-?

  4. Congratulations! to you both looks like an amazing day :bounce:
  5. probably just a change of water conditions , even tho the water is now "better" its differant from what they was used too. If a fish gets used to "bad" water , its a shock to their system to suddenly have "good" water. maybe a slower clean up or better yet always having good water would have been better. Do i hear the other fish yelling " ban him again so he keeps us clean !!! "

    Two Questions

Hi Guys I'm a bit confused , but nothing new in that What i would like to know is: 1, I've read king killies can be peat or mop spawners but 99% of what i've read say peat, whats the likelyhood of a spawning from a mop. 2, whats the likelyhood of all the offspring being female ? Tell you why , I had a mop floating in a tank with a very adult pair of king killies , thought nothing has happened and just put the mop in a tank that was very hevery planted . i've just gone to clean that tank out of most of the plant and there is young all over , and some fairly large. there used to be just cory's and some rainbows in that tank cory's they are not and completely the wrong shape for rainbows they ALL look just like feamle king killie ...couls this be ? Does the temp and Ph etc determin sex with this species ? any thoughts ? Thanks

  17. he means kribensis , they are a beautiful fish. Also some of the more less common danio's , such as glowlight danio, spotted danio would be good, easy enough to breed and there is always a market for something differant
  18. I find that if you get a good male and a good female you don't need a third , that said i have breed GBA's in pairs and groups .
