  1. Will just be some sort of hitchhikers. They should be sweet in the sump...help to clean things up!
  2. Tank is nearly ready to go on top.....Paint the back....Poly on bottom..... Plumbing, then shelving..... Sump is fully cycled ready to connect.
  3. It took 3 of us, struggling our butts off to get this thing on......180kg! ME IS HAPPY!!
  4. I dont have an issue with it...I will be runnning a small bead of silicon under the lip of the granite to stop it.......I'm not worried. Granite is in place....looks amazing!
  5. Can always buy another TV!!! :-?
  6. Thats part of the plan!!...we hardly watch tv anyway!! Fay....Not really too worried...thats why I went for Granite. The Granite is 800 wide and the Tv is only 600. Granite is completely waterproof so will drip off the front and back..... If it leaks!!
  7. The plumbing is right at the back with the wires. The Tv and stereo system will hide everything else. The granite will also hide everything. The bottom opf the tank along with the top will have timber skirting.
  8. still heaps of plumbing and mucking around to do........I better concentrate on work.......Damnnnn!!!!
  9. that edit made a hell of a diff!!!!!

    Maybe they're Lesbians!!
  12. Cheers chim....I got lots of beefy local piss drinking mates up and down the road! We'll have it done in a jiffy. Misnoma....I'm hoping to start collecting at Wenderholm...still got to see the access, but dont think it will be a problem...I have a 20 metre hose!
  13. Mate...Im going as fast as I can....finished the cabinet and will be moving into the lounge tonight and tomorrow night.....still at least a couple of weeks before i need some more NSW....you may just thave to buy the salt this time. After that we can collect water together and have little beach parties!!!
  14. If you have any crabs, they will cleanup crap...CB definitely..my cleaner and Cb get along fine, but the CB is a scavenger from 'Nam. My cleaner is also alone. He is currently looking for a wife. My sump has reverse lighting. I will be running a couple of damsells and a few "cleaneruperers", like crabs.....and just crabs i think. Dont want to waste a CB in the sump!
  15. Im spanning 900mm for the Tv, so needed something that wouldnt bow over the span. Brian....You will see the Lh and Rh side and the front edes and a bit of the top face at the front and sides, not much.......but will still look real nice. The timber was free, as I borrowed it off one of my small businesses!! So the whole cabinet finshed will be around $750.00!! No complaints here!! Ben....Got the rock dude, already cycled too! (Cheers anyway)
  16. Yip, just bought the poly this morning. probably wouldnt be an issue without poly, as the base is 12mm, but going to use poly anyway. The jagged edges are at the back up against the wall. They are part of an off cut that was the perfect size. The jagged bits wont be seen at all. (I have a friend in the granite business) He gives me good prices. This particular granite is actually $450.00 per square meter without polishing costs. But because it was an offcut i got it for about half!
  17. I chose granite for its "Dead flatness" and yes the edges and a little part of the tops will be visable. Most of the Granite will NOT be seen.....but hey, thems the breaks!
  18. Granite arrived yesterday.... 2220mm long by 800mm
  19. exactly...the bloody thing needs to be overkill!!!
  20. Its actualy not overkill...i've got to spread 1.6 tonnes over the floor area, so after speaking to my granite man, this is the minimum. Tank=220 kg water=1000kg Cabinet=200kg granite 200kg total 1660 kg
  21. The start of the main display cabinet....TV and Stereo underneath black granite. So far this bit will take 4 men to move!! 200x75 and 100x75 Macrocarpa
  22. I'm not wanting a shed....it woudnt fit with the house where it is located. at least a box can be planted and scaped around. There is more room in the box then just the sump. i have about one metre to the side where I can work from. Heaps of room.
  23. Dunno how you can see the tap....but nah, its in a perfect spot!!!
