    take her out in the backyard if you can?They are reptiles when all things considered and even though raised in tanks and cages ,far from what you would call `domesticated`? Natural is the way to go for me and seems to work well.

    I would say they may have had difficulty feeding them etc and may have lost the other one,at least you got one back.I got a stolen tortoise back after 8 yrs once and still find that hard to believe.You have been lucky,heed the warning!

    She has been digging around in the tank, but not deep enough. Might put in a big dish of vermiculite.

    hard to tell by your pics but I remember the first time my one laid after an accidental mating it hardly showed at all?Just feed her well and watch for changes in behaviour such as off its food ,trying to dig etc.Get your feeding worked out fast for the babies or it will end in tears . Take her outside and watch her and she may dig in the garden or where ever,just don`t let her out of sight.

    very hard to tell by all accounts?Plenty of stories of males? producing a batch of healthy youngsters.Once you do get babies you know for sure which is the girl,goodluck.

    just eat it or make that spongecake.she is just practising like the two that live on our swimming pool and drop the odd egg into the water.She will evetually get the idea and make a nest in a private spot and sit on them when she has enough.

    put flyers round all your neighbourhood and even local schools,if it was only kids you may be lucky and get them back, reward maay intice acomplices or parents that may not know how their brats came in possesion of such animals ,if they even know at all?this would need to happen fast as they may not even be in an apropriate tank?goodluck.
