Only one but hey better than none! I was looking at the baby beardies this morning they have in invercargill to replace them ( sick of looking at the empty enclosure ) glad I decided they were way to small now!

Would you believe I had one of my two geckos returned this afternoon! Was in a box on the front door step a little bit skinner than it was before it was stolen, but nothing a few good meals carn't fix yay!!! :happy2:

My weeks just got better :evil: . First the geckos and now my young beardy has been attacked by her brother and he's bitten her leg taken off one toe. What's the best way to care for this injury? Vet carnt see her till Monday, I've cleaned her leg in a warm bath and taken everything in the enclosure out with just paper towels. She's not walking on it and just dragging it.

Yes I do have photos of them both, speaking to my neighbour and apparently the security light was going nuts all night. Have a three story house and geckos were down the bottom sort of near the main door so would be easy for someone to walk in and out unnoticed

These two are not babies prob a good 18-20cm, things had been moved in their enclosure but door was closed. Also container that was sitting on top was on the ground, to get into their enclosure you have to take the whole top glass piece out.

I'm hoping to but came to the conclusion that is a animal so not an easily traced item and easy to hide, they can fingerprint that's about it. I'm in Kingston so it's only a small little town if it's a local someone will no or see them hopefully.

Yeah only geckos were taken, police are coming to check it all out. I didn't check any other property was just gutted about them will do a proper check when I get home. They had to know there worth or really wanted just them to leave the tv's, stereos etc behind. Prob to chicken to touch the beardies they aren't exactly social lately.

I was silly enough to put a picture of them on Facebook when I first got them 3 months ago. Neighbours knew that I had lizards but only 4 had seen the geckos, maybe people noticed the enclosure we are building outside and came round being nosy? Or just an opportunist who has seen them for $1200 for two recently on trademe. Just don't know kinda bad that I now have to question or doubt people I thought were friends.

Enclosure is similar to a case u see in a jewelers full glass with a wooden bass and sliding side door, has two holes about finger size to open and close.

Def no holes only hole in it is big enough for the power cord and that's it. I'm worried about my beardies and water dragon when I leave for work now.

came home after work today, went to feed and fill up my leopard geckos water to realize someone has stolen them both! I'm bout ready to cry. If anyone sees or hears of two available in the lower south island could you please contact me.

Thanks for the replys I got hold of a incubator it's on old one used in hospitals for pre babies bit of an overkill for 6 eggs

Thanks, lots of info on what 2 do with them once you get them but carnt seem to find info on the time frame. Maybe I'm having a mind fart moment!
