Do these reactors push the water up thru the media, or does it go down? If it went up thru, you may find it wouldn't clog the same. My diy one worked like that.

could this be because the media you use is quite small say 3-5mm, you may find if you used larger media it may not block the same? as reef said i think.

The size of that piece is about 10cm when it is fully out. Has any one ever been able to bring in frozen rotifers. I no biosupplys tryed to but it was going to cost to much to get them treated. any other fresh products???

Heres mine. I have had it for about 2 months, going well at this stage. feeding it daily. Carnation coral - Dendronephthya spp any black sun corals? or sea fans Gorgonia spp etc.

some people have far to much money one of the nicer tanks round, on par with steve weasts tank... ducks for cover

with a larger reactor you could put a larger amount of tank water and co2 thu, this would give you more kh ca etc, would it not

cheers, but if the reactor is spose to maintain a level why does it drop? KH stays stable mg sweet, just Ca.

Maybe i am thinking of the treatment for red bugs???? I have never had a problem with flat worms, maybe the six line and the mandarin help keep them under control?????????????

I am looking after a friends tank at then moment, he uses a reactor the KH stays spot on, no change at all, sweet. The ca is another story, it drops ever so slowly, say 420 - 410 - 400, maybe even less than that (say by 5). Question is putt putt and others do your reactors maintain a constant and i mean constant level ?

Eric Borneman's vid had an interesting take on the whole red bug/flatworm/??? thing. I would be a bit concerned about treating my tank the amount of life you would kill off may be worse?? than having them in the first place. Are there any fish etc that eat these????? six line?

Has been sugested before my someone, does work well though. You do need to sit it in a low flow are longer than supa glue or neadit.

Same randys 123. just turned it all on last night. Still need to add 3ltr of ca to get things right though.

Maybe a good water change, look into some po4 remover as this seems quite high Get your mg up and then your kh and ca.
