  3. True, but then which one would you consider correct? I think i you were to just stick to one type of kit, then at the least your water quality would be Consistent. They all seem to have some varience between them.
  4. That is why i think people reccomend a range of calcium etc, 400 - 420, then if your test is off a bit it is still within that range. Also who is to say the pinpoint is spot on either?
  5. would still work, but you would have to have a heap of it, very little surface area

    Sumps

As long as you have a grate over the outlet you should be fine. You would struggle to burn your pump out with sump running dry because you would never get all the water out of the sump, would just be more of a water air mix.
  7. i would put the 2215 on par with the 304, 2213 $195 2215 $249 2217 $299 CHCH prices Best filter by far for the money

    bubbles in my display

or if you are really good with diy stuff get two containers, you want one to fit inside the other. The pipe will go into the centre of the first, the water will flow up and over into the second container. Drill or cut holes in the bottom of the second container so the water can escape thru the bottom. or Put a filter sock over the pipe in the sump. or build a new sump

    KP's Tank Build

If you set them up right from the start you will never have to adjust them, never.
  12. marrons (premmis) are different from any other clowns. If you want to have a go at pairing get a small one. setup a container in the tank to put the new fish in. (make sure it is clear) After a week or so you can try to put the small one in. just make sure there are a heap of places for them to hide.
  13. WHAT!!!! Natural, i think it looks pretty natural, at least its getting away from the brick wall look. All those corals are out of the same location as well. One of the only tanks i no of like it.

  20. There are 5 places round nz with them. all legal It is not to hard to get a permit for them. The cost would be no where near the $3k mark. They would cost close to the cost of a pacu.
  21. i would put a 10mm base back on, no way would i ever make one with 6mm. Does the stand have a brace running thru the centre?
