the best way to tell if they are aptasia put a heap of joes juice on them.

After two weeks check the same spot, if there are at least 6 small ones you no they are aptasia, if none, it must have been a rose anemone
Bummer, still looks quite cool.
I did take a frag of it and put it up closer to the halides, it has colored up heaps more than the adult. A real green color over it, but the polyps are now brown??????

also depends on how well it has been made.
Also what was the height you based this SF on. If it was used for a marine tank, most people would not fill it right to the top.
If this was the case it should be fine, depending on what height it was filled to.
My tank is made of 10mm glass, 1200x 750h x 900w. Has had water in it for years, no worries. But it is not filled to the top.

Ok moving on from the K thread how about your thoughts regarding the addition of iron into the aquarium.
I no there must be more research which has been done in this area.
