Over the last year i have sent about 25 tanks around nz.
All but one got there 100%. The one that didn't had a chip on the top brace.
All the ones i sent only had shrinkwrap and a cardboard base as packaging.
By doing this the people that move them can see what they are and are more carefull than if they were in a box.
That sounds more like what i plan on doing, you don't happen to have photos of it do you? Can email me if that is easier.
Really 4C, thats pretty cold, is this the only killi that can live in these conditions?
Thanks for that ej, all good info.
Not planning on a room as i need the space for other aquaria related things.
Looking at building a unit on one of the walls. Basically like a big cupboard all sealed up.
I am thinking it will be about 2000 x 1200 x 500mm.
3x 650w x 400d x 300h on bottom
6x 300w x 350d x 250h
10x 200w x 300d x 200h
or there abouts.
Just wanted to see other peoples setups to click the brain into gear.
As the title suggests what are your breeding setups like, how many tanks do you have?
Looking at building one in the garage so fishing for ideas
It should have read "..Daino's, Tetras Etc"
Not meaning tetras and dainos together.
Lepoard Dainos and Zebra Dainos can be crossed.
Parrot fish?? Allthough a human hand did help with this.
Sure there are a few others people can think of.
After a holiday of around 18 months I have finally setup another aquarium. It’s a small planted tank that will house a small group of Nigerianus Gold (I think).
Big thanks to Chiclid 7 for the group of 6. (2M4F)
If it was me i would get the eheim not the aqua-one.
The Aqua one says up to 500ltrs but take that with a grain of saly.
Shouldn't look at the ltr rating as it will come down to stocking levels not ltr.
Go the Eheim
Just letting people know how i did them.
As most would know Breeding Cardinals are really hard. I am not suggesting that i breed hundreds by any means.
Reason i am not doing it now is we brought a house and my efforts are on that at the moment. Will set up a few more tanks at a later date.
Anyway this is how we did it for a number of species and it worked.
