1 tspn of de iodinized rock salt per 4 litres in the morning, water change by the evening, leave a day, repeat process. I have just done this with success as a few guppys had spots. I always add boiled peat in old panty hose to my tanks filters as well to calm the fish, helps with the healing process. I never use medicines BAR melafix or if i have an issue with internal parasites. Most external diseases can be treated effectivley naturally.

nooooooooooooooooooooooo! its sucks so bad when you finally get the fish that are just a little more special to you than the others and they flag out like that. My big pair of wild variation kribs have been missing the last few days in my 6 foot, i hope they are just rasing fry and not dead I've only managed to get 5 babies to adults so far even though they breed every 2-3 weeks or so, i don't know what im doing wrong either!

Ichthus is well trained, makes me wonder if your wife is like a super ninja or some kind of payed assasin/superwoman or maybe she's just a fantastic cook and he's thinking about how this would effect his tummy :slfg: . Reminds me of that terrible movie "my super ex girlfriend". My partner and I make fun of each other all the time, life's to short to get jammed up over words thats for sure. -
double brown skull it down!

Isn't flourish excel a fertiliser designed for aquarium plants? I didn't think it got rid of algae, my understanding was that it adds nutrience to help your other plants grow, more growth in your aquarium plants means less left over nutrience for the algae to feed on and eventually it starves? As they will both compete for nutrience. Lowering your lights on times and getting the right colour spectrum of light can also do the same thing no? or am i completly wrong? This would mean that squirting flourish directly onto algae is probably doing nothing accept feeding the algaE?

I just hate how she killed dumbledoor and i hate how harry finally kills voldermort in the books. I've only seen upto the 5th movie because they are so terrible. It really annoyed me that professor D didn't go out fighting in a crazy blaze of glory, cracking out some amazing magic that only he knew that we had never seen before, but instead he gets weak from drinking poisened water and has already gleemed the future, doesn't want malfoy to be a killer so tells snape he must do it! Im just like naaaaaaaa! why couldnt they have a huge fight in hogwarts vs those death eaters, instead he falls from a tower lifeless.... not a death befitting professor D you stupid english woman! AND THEN! she has the nerve in the next book to not only not leave anything behind from professor D for harry, not a message or a clue! nothing, he doesnt just explode back into life like i had hoped the whole time. He's just dead and thats it, but the professor D i knew, had he knowen, as he did, that he was going to die, would have gone to some efforts to leave something for harry! BUT IT GETS WORSE! the final stand off in the books between voldemort and harry is just stupid! talking for ages and then bam voldermort is dead... 7 books leading up to... the biggest disappiontment ever. I still love HP but its made me hate the author. She literally had had enough of writing HP so wrecked the last two books for the fans. I say wrecked, but i really mean the two main things i complained about above lol cause there is heaps of really cool stuff that happens to.

Ive got a almost 2 year old unfixed roti X last wighed in at 42kgs at the vets and he is a handful! I like to produce veges and fruit all year round in my gardens but Jedi had the same issue as your dog, fresh fertilisers drove him wild. I tryed changing his electric collar boundry to find out that he doesn't care about electric shocks, i watched him just scratch the collar a couple times as it went off, but was still to interested in the garden. I've tryed remote controlled shock collars as well and either he's just so thick that it doesnt register in his brain that hes getting shocked or his fur is dense enough that it limits the output, either way hardly reacted to this method. I tryed the garden hose but he would just sit down in the garden and role around and get super muddy. One day i came home and he had completly destroyed everything (these are home built raised garden beds) and was just lying on his back, legs in the air, obviously had a good day wrecking all my hard work, so i went inside and sprayed a bottle of brute (this was the next step i had planned) into a water pistol with some warm water, then i went outside and gave him a short sharp squirt in the face. He hated this, played sad sack for the rest of the night, followed me around with a depressed look on his face but never touched the garden again! or so i thought. A few months later i come home, gardens where on the mend, hes made his bed in them again, i was just so angry at this point because hes isnt this stupid, he knew it was wrong and he still did it anyway, so i put the fear of God into him and gave him a big smack on the bum, dragged him inside and put him in the naughty corner, where he sat for a few hours, then i let him out again but watched from my window. The momment he came sniffing around the garden i shot outside and went crazy at him, loud noises arms all over the show and got right in his face, he cowered and submitted to me, i did this once more the next day when he went near, and now he seems to be timid about going near the garden, time will tell, its only been about 3 weeks, but he hasn't gone near it since i scared him lol Its hard because all dogs are different, you have to tailor your style of dicipline to your dog (large breed to small breed) and i hate telling them off or smacking them, but its far better than having a dog that doesn't listen to you at all like my partners dog, its very important to be firm and create boundries otherwise the dog will think it owns you, not the other way around and the easiest time to teach these boundries is when they are still a puppy. Im not saying what i did will work for you, but i have read that laughing and pointing at a dog when they've done something wrong has the same effect as telling them off and smacking them. I have tried this but jedi just gets really excited and jumps on me.

Cheers

oh it has plenty of uses, for whatever reason i, from the photo of the product itself and the fact that they say its like 90% silica i thought it was substrate for tanks
-
$103 for 5kg, ill stick with silica
-
haha no deffinatly not! its for moon light, works good now too. Just so i can still view the fish but not encourage algae by having the lights on too long

Get a decent school, feed them till you can tell which are females and which are males, you'll be able to tell because the girls will get heavier with eggs. seperate females and feed up for another two weeks, live food preferably. Have a small spare tank that has cycled water and a little bubbler in it. bare bottom with a layer of marbles, top that off with a layer of moss or christmas moss. Add the fish to this tank and leave them in there for upto 3 days, don't feed them too much during this point, you don't want to foul the little tank. Remove fish to recover, i leave a towel over the tanks for another day, keeping it dark, liquifry for the first two days then straight onto BBS. You should get hundreds! very easy to do this once a month once you have a setup. Also the moss produces micro bacteria and such for the fry to feed on

Cool but not sure its practical? what would you keep in here? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=389159185

Pregnant guppy bursting at the seams!! Help!
livebearer_breeder replied to critter_crazy's topic in Livebearers
Awesome! 12 is a good number of albinos, now grow them out. hopefully you get a higher ratio of females, then each of them produce 12 and so on and so forth until you are the mighty wielder of the house of albino poecilia, the hand of the freshwater mid lands, feared amongst most regular fish. -
Looking for a photo of a small betta tank
