  1. Yeah if the substrate is coral sand or something that makes the ph higher you will have to remove that.If the filters have anything that alters the ph you will need to remove that into the new filter.So yes it probably would be better clean out both tanks.

  5. Puffers would nip the fins off the other fish. Festivum cichlids are cool fish that look a bit like angels and are more peaceful than angels. hachetfish are an interesting peaceful surface dwelling fish.

  9. Hi fellow fishkeepers I have a question regarding my sisters minnows: The minnows are in a tank heated at 20c so could in acclimatise them to a tank heated at 24c? Would they be compatible with: 1 female fighter 1 bristle nose 1 cherry barb 2 gardneri killies 3 hatchets 5 lemon tetras And 3 diamond tetras The tank size is 130 litres

  11. The neons may become snacks for the silver dollars but you could try any of the deeper bodied tetras. Angelfish might be ok I have one with my silver dollars,but sometimes the silver dollars fin nip the angels. A shark would be fine but stay away from the territorial ones like black or red tailed sharks. Cories are a good for choice your tank.
