hey is there any difference between the ballast for a single end lamp and a double ended lamp (of the same wattage) (just thought id get some more ideas alastair)

hey what do you guys use to mount your sps frags? it looks like some kindof putty/epoxy, but everything i've seen seems toxic i'd like to use the same sort of stuff to do some rock work and also need to know for when i get some sps my self any one got some cool peices for fragging in a few weeks?

ouch, thats a litlle bit harsh dont you think? just for the record ph 8.2 phosphate 0 nitrate 0 nitrite was slightly detectable at 0.1 hmmmm of course i have considered that it died of other reasons and hence the retest of the water quality

thats what i thought, but i wanted to make sure there wouldnt be any issues, i ussually do corals in tuperware (seems safer to me than plastic bags)

i think what pies said about the seasons is true, its alot like the lighting phases that some of you have ie t5's turn on first and then the halides making it like a sunrise, in nature of course there are going to be fluxuations (as its not a controlled environment) and if you want to imitate it then you need to consider its variables) im going to go for a simulated typhoon tommorow and throw coconuts and dead pigs into my tank
