i think that would depend on what type of coral you talk about soft corals obviously are stressed or angry when they close up and happy when opened, you can tell by just looking at them. if your hammer was always retracted im sure youd be a bit worried to

hmmmmm i noticed alot of little brown specs on the glass and rocks they would be 2mm at the most today while staring at some baby shrimp things playing i noticed that they are alive, they seem to be little slugs or something ideas?? oh and the little shrimpy things? about 3mm, just scooting around the tank bottom, they dont look like your classic pods, but more like tiny shrimp, the larger ones are red and have a small white spot close to the head on the back and the smaller ones pinkish white. ideas??

maybe it ate his/her expensive corals and shrimp and hes only selling it cause he cant justify a 200$ fish stew

maybe he has a second tank soley for that fish and is tired of the up keep

well at this stage i think il let them be eaten, but it think i might try and find some smaller food that they might be able to eat any one have any idea? i would think something that you would feed to sps or any coral with very small poylps would be the most accsesable and appropriate ideas????

yeah it seems they have a very long larval stage, i know that hollywood or jansens had some that they raised to a certain level (at least someone told me that) the last molt from the larval stage is apparently the one that finishes the survivers well i guess time will tell who gets to eat them

hey has anyones cleaner shrimp had eggs before that have survived?? mine has just appeared with them today sort of yellowy green under the swimming mechanism things what precautions should i take? if nothing happens at least my fish will get a feed of shrimp eggs

i agree with everyone the fact is that everyone involved here is still a hobbiest when it comes down to it, sure reef might make some money out of it but who cares, sure steve and nicks might make some money out of it but who cares. i have no problems paying for stuff that i want, and someone has to sell it speaking of acro frags its a bit far for me pies but anyone in auckland have one or two for me?

hey my wife has decided not to get the puffers as she wants to keep it fresh, any suggestions for a two foot tank?? live breeders maybe? guppies? (they are ok but a bit boring) platties look like gold fish(most that is) maybe swordtails? she would like some that will breed easily but are still attractive fish suggestions for what to look for at the lfs???
