the reason i said it was to show the obvious stupidity of banning certain corals due to the dificulty in keeping them, any fish or coral can be killed if not treated right we could have an increadibly boring forum where noone attempts to joke or make light of the situations that we are in, and that no one wants to visit or participate in or we could lighten up and get over ourselves and enjoy the hobby and encourage people to join

as long as the kid knows not to put weetbix and milk in the tank and they have someone that will help them i say go for it i know im going to setup a small freshwater tank for my kids to have some fish

thats for a double end mh (but only 10k bulb) the pc's i was refering to were at jansens and hollywoods the thing is that you need to buy the fitting and then the bulb with the clour you want because the bulb they come with is quite low kelvin (and they arent that high quality)

the cost isnt really an issue fay as pc's can cost almost as much as a 150W mh availability is a factor to, its really hard to find good quality and high wattage pc's (especially in the kelvin range that youll need for the marine tank)

yep jf2003 those are the ones we where looking at, there is one in a display tank here but its not for sale

mmmmmmm yum how much do they normaly cost? (i've seen the bumble bees for sale for about 8$) but my wife wants some a little bigger and what plants can go in a brackish tank?

the hydrometers that i have had havent had teh salinity level for brackish i'll do a little research on that i just broke one that i've had for a week, :evil: stupid gurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
