On a side note and without adding anything relavent to this actual discusion. The topic of my lecture today was all about importing things, local suppy, labour market etc. it made me have a little chuckle thinking about this topic

Thats what I thought as well. moving a fully established tank must suck! Hence why I have been so confuzzeled on the whole situation

I see, is there competions that are run in big halls, like bird and cat shows? if there is how do they sort there tanks, plants and fish then?

How do people scape a tank when entering a competion? is it all set up months in advance and maintained, this is something that has always confussed me

I had some in there for a while, one of the pics may still show that. but one of the plants looked horrible and just didnt work so I removed it and in a frantic rush one day I left some twisted al out of water for nearly 2 days. and it just never recovered. I am trying to grow some algae on the white rough bits to break a bit of the background up as well

Thats a shame about the Aulonocara! the problem with the hybrid I find is that alot of them turn out to be very nice looking fish, which then brings up the old question of keeping only pure or be happy with some nice looking hybrids. The camera is a Canon DS126151. I can not take any credit for the photos, I struggle to turn a camera on let alone take pics, my mate brung it round and snapped off a bunch of pics for me.

very cool plan. I have thought about the idea of a ply wood tank build. are you going to throw pics up of the build process?
