  1. I have eaten neither, but I shall be going to my local New World tomorrow and getting a can of spam after all this chat about meat it has made me NEED to try it
  2. Spam (shortened from spiced ham)[1] is a canned precooked meat product made by the Hormel Foods Corporation, first introduced in 1937. The labeled ingredients in the classic variety of Spam are chopped pork shoulder meat, with ham meat added, salt, water, modified potato starch as a binder, and sodium nitrite as a preservative (wiki)
  3. yeh veal is a calf, from my understanding its yummy but not pc to eat :an!gry and Spam is corned beef in a can
  4. thats a samoan delicacy. ( no offense to anybody)
  5. duck veni and goat are all good when done rite. I had emu when I was younger, very strong taste in that. would definitly do it again if I ever see it. As a side note, has anyone had veal in NZ, I have never seen it for sale at a super market or at a resturant I have always wanted to give that a go
  6. yeh it is a pain, having to add anouther $30-$40 to any fish that you want to get from up north. You are pretty lucky with all the selection you have

  8. because it hadnt crossed my mind  would fish-street be the best avenue to go down as far as Europe goes? or is there other ones
  9. thats the one, is there a way of converting it, or is that not an option?
  10. I am now considering either 2 of the sunsun's or importing a FX5. they are only about $400 to the door which is very resinible, I am just concerend about the diffrence in power that the states have compared to us, I think its the AMPS. but dont hold me to that. has anyone imported electrical gear from the states without hassel when it comes to that?
  11. good accountant's find loop holes. much like good lawyers find technicaly ways out of things
  12. There is some for sale at my local :slfg:
  13.   What a muppet :sml1: :sml1: :sml1:
  14. I havnt heard anything bad about sunsun as of yet, so it maybe worth looking into getting possibly two
  15. I had considered that. but having the extra canni hanging round after its use seems like a good idea, even if its just for a back up
  16. I would suspect somewhere about there, but as they are only young and will only be about 25 fish I think I could get away with much less, fish are only about 15 mm in size so still very young. this is just a short term fix until I get the sump set up and running for it. I have just noticed that the tank they are in is quickly getting to small. and getting a canister for this tank will be cheaper and quicker in the long term then getting a new tank set up and then doing this tank
  17. what would it normaly/should be?
  18. Nope hence why I have just asked on this forum. I dont know anyone who has used a boyu or heard any first hand info on them And as for the pond filter, I havnt dont ANY research on them before, and wouldnt know where to start on them
  19. not yet, but still looking. But the original one is only $40 more then that one and will have ample filtration, according to description of course
  20. and they are not suitable for the size tank I am running
