  2. Thanx Guys Ira: I was just trying to get it crystal clear. Thanx Again
  3. Thanx for the advice guys, but can anyone explain why the first photo is fuzzy, while the others are clear? They were taken on same settings and cropped and resized in the same way.
  4. Ive got a Sony Cyber Shot (DSC P72 <- thats what it says on the camera) And it produces the crappiest photos I have ever seen. Ive messed around with the settings, still looks like crap. Here is a Photo That I just took: (Ive made it smaller using the Print Screen Function, Then pasting in paint and saving as JPEG as I do always) This Photo Is extremely Crap: But, Take a look at this. This Pic was taken with the same camera, but looks great. It was also resized and saved in the same way as above. Also take a look at this Pic, which was taken and resized and cropped in the same way as all of the above (With Paint). It looks great. Finally, Here is a Pic I took for posting on an electronics forum. I have posted it here purely for comparison agains the other photos. Please note taht it was taken with the same camera, same settings, cropped and resized in the same way as the FIRST pic, which was crap. And, when I take photos of other People, it looks great. But when I take a photo of the fish tank, it looks crap. Please explain. Could it be because of the Lighting Conditions? Any Help Appreciated
  5. What if I point both the filters at each other ?
  6. I mean, if thre is a power surge, is there a chance of the devices blowing up and killing all the fish?
  7. Please Elaborate. I have 5 x Baby Angel Fish, 4 x Blue Dwarf Gouramies, 2 x Red Phantom Tetras, 1 x Bronze Cory and 1 x Neon Tetra. Do they all like the current  The New Arrival (One of the Baby Angel Fish) loves to take a bubble bath (He's always over the bubble wall)
  8. Hi Guys, I was wondering if it would be bad if I add another filter that pumps an additional 400 LPH? Currently I have 1 Shark 1 (400Litres / hour) and an Airstone running of a 9 LT/MIN air pump. Would adding a second filter be too much current / circulation? Thanx
  9. You should put a piece of red tape on the heater plug. I have never accidentally unplugged my heater, because it is the only plug that is plugged into a surge protector. Anyway, Is it important to have surge protection for all aquarium devices?
  10. Hahah... Actually for NCEA Level 1, ther are no exams, just your "paperwork" and research, taht gets you credits. For Exam sessions, you get to do practical for like 2 hours.
  11. I work by rule of thumb, I dont make it extremely accurate. Ive designed a PCB with those specifications and it ran fine. So I thot this would work too
  12. I have to do it, Im such an electronics whore 8) Why not wire your LEDs like this with a Pot? U can tweak te brightness....
  13. Ohms Law: V = IR Voltage = Current x Resistance Rearrange to Resistance = Voltage / Current Resistance = 12 / 0.02 (12 Volts / 20 mA) Resistance = 600 Ω Use that to calculate resistor values. So yes, that 470 Ω Resistor should do the job.

  25. Yeah and as a last resort use the commercial algae remover. I wont recommend it because I dont like the idea of a foreign chemical substance being in my tank with my most loved fishes. SALES REMOVED... Use correct section and edit your profile. Moderator.
