It gets sprayed/watered once or twice a day. I glagwraped the front opening for the 1st week when i transfered the start grass and Crypt from my main tank.

Ive Been a little slack with updating this project. Today.. The hair grass and crypt were a little slow to take off because they were orginally submerged. But the HU wasn't.

It is expected to cloud the water like any substrate put in an aquarium when it is first setup. Chucking a filter on there for a couple of days will clear it up. Looks Good BTW.

I have a fair amount of silica sand in my aquarium and it does not leach one bit, my water chemistry has stayed the same.

Take your time with the silicon, you don't want it failing and then you have to empty it and start it all over again.

The one at HFF in MT Roskill is about 13-14cm ( a rough estimate).

River Rocks will be fine, if your worried about if they will affect they water chemisrty you can do the vinigar test.

200L..Hmmm.. Go for 2 or 3 Aspito's or Blue Rams, A large school (30-40) of Tetras such as Embers or Cardinals, The danios that you have will stay up the top and the other tetras will stay in the middle of the tank. Then add some Catfish such as corys, 8-10 would be a nice sized group. YOU WANT A FINE GRAVEL TO PLANT WITH!!!
