They are rather pale ATM and it might take a week for them to colour up nicely. so when they start to colour up i will take the pics or do you want them now?

Thanks Sophia. Got some more fish today, 5 Ember Tetras and 5 Asian Rummy Noses. I also have a question, would i be able to get a Blue Ram and another 5 of the rummy noses without over stocking the tank?

Yes ill have frequent-ish progress pics. I wont be getting the HC till after Christmass. Might put a little Crypt in the mean time.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So i saw this glass Thing in Melbourne and brought it and decided to do an emersed setup with fluorite Black as the base. I was going to use Hemianthus umbrosum as the main foreground/carpet plant, i might use xmas moss on the rock and put a few red stems at the back behind the rock. Any comments welcome..

Basically you have to take out the bulbs and the plugs that the fit into and replace them with the t5s and rewire the it. Some one correct me if im wrong- You will need to also need to get a different Driver(or is it Ballast) for the unit and wire that in. This means you will need a Soldering Iron. Also might be best to put this in the DIY section or get a MOD to move it. HTH.

I saw a C.parva at hff the other week.

Putting lemon and oranges in your tank probaly wont do anything to change the colour of your fish it will only lower your pH. There is though the thing where fish adapt to the colours around them and change colours accordingly. You need to remember that the colour of a fish can only be enhanced to a certain extent.
