You are able to join a club even if you are unable to get to meetings fins. My club has members all over the country and it is fun when we get to meet some of them like we will when we go to Napier. Make sure you join a club with an informative newsletter though

I don't know much about disease but I understood loaches were very sensitive to white spot meds. I assume the new tank was set up using filters that had been running in the smaller one and some of the old tank water so you didn't have to cycle it? Were the clowns not quarantined first? They are very susceptible to white spot. Perhaps the behaviour is a leftover from treatment? Anyone else able to help?

What is an Otto 750N? Any possiblity of something being sprayed near the tank? I assume it is a well established aquarium and been running for quite a while with no problems? Do you know what caused the whitespot outbreak? This is a result of stress or poor water conditions. You say they are sick. What symptoms do they have? Lesions? Rapid breathing? Off their food? etc

Yes it is Redwood's. It isn't for sale either I don't think as it is in their display tank. They used to have two but I could only see one this trip.

Egg yolk is a very well known fry food fins You have to be careful not to foul the tank though.

Do LOTS of research first. With Africans, there are a lot of variables. It is also important what size fish are when they are added (and depends on what else is going in) and the order they are added. They are very territorial. Also some will interbreed so you end up with plain loooking fry so be careful what you mix with what.
