  3. I live right by the sea, it takes me less then two minutes to walk there, but my problem is the tank size and the summer heat  edited to add a little of topic, but look at these cuties I saw the other day, sorry pic is not so good, took it with my phone. If I had a marine tank, i would not have a problem filling it with cleaners, if these guys clean, not to sure. But after taking the pic I managed to catch one and inspect it from closer, so they are easy to catch, and too cute close up !drool:

  5. Hi all, I would like to know what you guys eat as your traditional Christmas dinner. We would like to try and have a Kiwi traditional dinner this year. I know the guy at the butcher said a champagne ham and roasted turkey is a must and the lady at the bakery said pavlova is a must, but what other stuff do you have with it. I heard something about a Christmas pudding as well, is that similar to a malva pudding you get in South africa or is it different. I have two kids to consider as well, 12 year old boy and a very fussy little 7 year old girl. Thanks in advance for any advice malva pudding explanation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malva_Pudding

Just chased my cat out of the house with a bird hanging in her mouth, with my hysterical seven year old shouting out out out with tears streaming down her face. Managed to get the cat out and daughter calmed after I explained the reason for the cat bringing the birds into us. I deffinetly sense nightmares for her tonight
  8. Oh my, guess I will stick to Tropical then, I won't be able to get another tank
  9. I have been using it for years now without any problems. I even remove my cats food and water dish and spray the area where I put it with the no ants, she has never had ants in her food and water and she is healthy, just last week had her vet check up and no probs. I do however cover my fishtanks with a damp towel when I do spray the house and I do it on a warm day so I can air the house completely.
  10. Thank you It really looks very nice. I am loving my big school. You must upload pics once your fishies settled
  11. Above is little Zombie  look how well he/she is doing. It is still a bit darker and smaller than the other fishies, but very much loved by me. I handfeed him/her every second night with brine shirmp and bloodworms and I also stick a jbl nova tab against the glass to nibble on  Below an updated pic of how the school look together too
  12. http://www.kiwicare.co.nz/pest/products/product-list/no-spiders/ I use the No Ants twice a year all around the bottom of the house inside and out and the No Spiders up the wall corners and right around the top of the walls where the ceiling is. I have no ants or spiders in my house, this stuff is really good and it does not leave a potent smell in your house
  13. Hi all, I was wondering what the smallest size tank I can use to start a marine tank, I want to give it a try, I have a small little 20 litre, is that to small, its a little blueplanet tank. Any advice would be appreciated
  14. One day an old German Shepherd starts chasing rabbits and before long, discovers that he's lost. Wandering about, he notices a panther heading rapidly in his direction with the intention of having lunch. The old German Shepherd thinks, "Oh, oh! I'm in deep doo-doo now!" Noticing some bones on the ground close by, he immediately settles down to chew on the bones with his back to the approaching cat. Just as the panther is about to leap, the old German Shepherd exclaims loudly, "Boy, that was one delicious panther! I wonder, if there are any more around here?" Hearing this, the young panther halts his attack in mid-strike, a look of terror comes over him and he slinks away into the trees. "Whew!," says the panther, "That was close! That old German Shepherd nearly had me!" Meanwhile, a squirrel who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree, figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the panther. So, off he goes. The squirrel soon catches up with the panther, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the panther. The young panther is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here, squirrel, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine!" Now, the old German Shepherd sees the panther coming with the squirrel on his back and thinks, "What am I going to do now?," but instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to his attackers, pretending he hasn't seen them yet, and just when they get close enough to hear, the old German Shepherd says... "Where's that squirrel? I sent him off an hour ago to bring me another panther!" Moral of this story... Don't mess with the old dogs... Age and skill will always overcome youth and treachery! BS and brilliance only come with age and experience

Staring at my grumpy kitty cat. She does not like her catcage or going for a drive to get vaccinations. So to top her bad day I added a microchipping too, she is following me around like a little tail giving me this horrible grumpy look all the time. Took a pic to show you guys
  19. Thanks Cricketman, mine used to look like the top one. His name was Spinnie LOL. We used to live in the Mondi Forest just outside Kwa-Mbonambi, perfect place for spiders
  20. I have had two weird pets growing up. I had a chameleon, he was such a sweetie. And I used to have a venusfly trap plant as a pet, now I know thats not an animal/reptile or fish, but I had to catch flies for him and let them go near him, so I classify it as a pet. I also had a bobbejaan spinnekop, which I absolutely would freak if one came near me now, shows you how fearless we are as kids :rotf:
  21. Aww its actually better, my computer is four years old allready and not that good. I will however try and take a much better type picture next time I play so you can see. Else there is some nice ones in my link of my pets album above I love building sims in sims 3, there is so much you can change to personalise it. I am not that good at building houses, but love furnishing them
