Hi all, we purchased 3 female bettas from hff last weekend and today i discovered a nice big bubble nest in their tank. Now im guessing that one is a male? or do females build bubble nests too? i can put up photos if that helps

Or you could have been sold a male plakat. I scored 2 that were sold as females :thup:

I had a female who was a hermaphrodite - she built a bubble nest, dropped her eggs, put them in the nest and then tended them for three days before eating them. It was a good big bubble nest as well
