  1. Nice, I'll look into that
  2. I'm not really going for any style in particular.... I like dutch, iwagumi and nature so I'm hoping to borrow some of each Which library has the Amano books?
  3. Day 2 Settled, 8 hours for light + Co2
  4. This is the backside of the rock on the LHS. The moss might hide the flat surface a little
  5. What moss are you using moss master?
  6. 2 or 3 Oto's and 15 penguin or ember tetra's. Not decided yet...
  7. Have you tried a welding supplies shop? They use Co2 gas bottles.
  8. It never does..... You have to picture the tank grown in which is always hard. :-? I wanted to do a stone and rootwood scape but couldn't find the right type of wood.
  9. Cheers! Just setup a new tank and I'm already thinking about changing it.....
  10. Do you know what sort of wood it is? I have been looking for that "root" looking wood for a while....
  11. The wood on the middle right side that looks like a root is awesome! Where did you get that?
  12. No, it's 2 plants tied to a piece of stone that's been pushed down into the substrate a little. The rhizome is clear
  13. Yep, I want that back corner to be big and bushy
  14. Hopefully not long, I planted a couple big chunks right by the co2 so should see some action over the next weeks
  15. Mt R HHF Very similar to ada okho stone or dragon stone sold in the uk
  16. I've dug the bag out, it's Seachem Flourite. Probably is a good product, I just found the clay chips not the best size for planting glosso.... but maybe I'm just rubbish at planting glosso
  17. Dunno, it's made from clay I think. I found it a little big for planting glosso and next time I would just use the manado or order some flash substate from ebay
  18. Day 1 Setup Emptied tank, cleaning glass and equipment. Flourite, sand and rocks added JBL Manado goes over flourite Moss stones in Right side left side from the top front Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I wouldn't use flourite as a base next time, not the best for planting glosso. I'll up the lighting and Co2 for the first few days to give the glosso a kick start, also 20% WC 2 times per week. :bounce: :bounce:
  19.  I could forget about the beach and plant the glosso to the front with a sand path
  20. I like that one also, it would need to be brought forward a little more though Here is the last layout, I forgot to take a straight on shot  It will give a nice shape to the sand beach
  21. I will, might start a journal.... 4 pots glosso will take me a while I guess. Still can't decide on which layout to use though
