  1. looks great grow dense like that
  2. Remember you can use an adaptor from your regulator if you have to, so check all potential suppliers of Co2 for the best one.
  3. If I can't find a good supplier that's close by and cost effective then I might just go for Sodastream. It's food grade Co2 and I can get refills at Farmers. I will look at fire extinguishers etc first as the Sodastream bottle is small.
  4. I'm going to try a place called Air Liquide which I think may do food grade... I'm expecting to part with over $200 to get a new bottle
  5. I'm in the same boat, been looking for places that refill so I can decide on what type of bottle to get. There is always sodastream or FE
  6. Been thinking about the planting plan and this is what I have so far (sorry, I'm no artist) I'm thinking it may look a bit symmetrical in this plan but could break that with some colour at the back and pruning. Or Just go for glosso only
  7. Rotala Macrandra would look nice at the back, Yes, a bit of colour would be nice, I had a tank with just HC when I was in London and just want to try a different style with this..... but just glosso eh.. hmmm
  8. The tank is 60x30x35 The rocks are similar to rocks I used in my old tank in London called dragonstone (that's what it was sold to me as anyway..) I got these ones at HHF.
  9. Hello, After endless adjusting, squinting, scratching head and adjusting again I think I'm happy with this arrangement. Been toying with the idea of adding wood but unless I can find the right piece I will just stick with this. There will be a sand foreground with moss stones to soften the transition to substrate. Choosing plants is the new challenge, so far I'm thinking, moss stones in the foreground with hairgrass planted in and around. The middle mound at the back I'm going to try glosso which will hopefully climb through the gap between the main stones. A narrow leaf fern for one of the back corners and not sure what to use the other, maybe a tall grass or some nice stems... This is going to be a high light and Co2 injected tank so if anyone has any suggestions I would be most grateful! Thanks, Steve
  10. Not read through the whole thread yet, so sorry if I'm repeating what someone else has said... Iwagumi style tanks are always like this in early stages but worth it in the end. Try throwing loads of 'bushy' type plants in for now to starve the algae. When your carpeting plants are more established whip out the temporary ones. Chuck in a few otto's....
