this is pretty how big is the tank?

this is the first time I've seen cories spawning. They are doing it all over the place and every now and then an egg goes flying out. Some aren't going to survive as they are landing in or near the sand but the ones that go into the rocks might be ok. How come some get flung and some get stuck to things?

Came back from being out for a couple hours and found 4 large eggs - 1 on a leaf, 2 on the back wall, 1 on the filter box. They are white frosty looking, like a little snowball but they don't have any fungus. Is it OK to scrape them off and put them in a net box in the tank? I don't have a spare airstone or pump so I can't do what has been suggested to others and put them in a box with tank water and an airstone. I could also leave them and just see what happens of course.

Skylla is in need of some kitty discipline! Such a cheeky cat :love: Today Monty did 2 things: he had his first visitor and was purry and friendly. I'm so happy to have a sociable cat, the last 3 were not. The other thing he was catch a bird within seconds of being on the backdoorstep. It was a sparrow and I don't think he hurt it much so I put it in the hedge and Monty came back inside voluntarily. He doesn't like The Outside much yet, he's still quite an indoors boy.

it seems that I still have about 6 cherry barb fry, now big enough to be mooching around the tank and one has a definite stripe. I fed them on golden pearls before, then went back to see them and found some with big orange tummies. Also I'm nearly getting my hopes up that 2 killiefish eggs have eyes. They have 2 definite black dots inside and are not yet blue or fuzzy, it's been over a week. -

So this tank is officially now only cherry barbs and plants. The CPDs have all died one by one, some went thin first, some didn't. They all ended up as floaters. There is one emerald dwarf rasbora left and he is living with the mosquito rasbora. -
