It took about a week and a half for the newbies to settle in, now I see fish back at the front of the tank again and usually 6 at dinner time. bloodworms also seemed to help them realise what an awesome and generous owner I am -

hey Joe what's the story with sprouting seeds, is it to give them live green food? Can I do it for our wild birds by sprouting a handful of budgie seed in a jar with water?

My shrimp that was living in the tropical tank has disappeared, he lasted many months, maybe a year even. But not anymore sorry. -

I have studied Simon's avatar and can't quite get the caption right. It's either a 'oh Dad not another ____fish/bug in a jar/crypt___' followed by a great raising of arms and eyebrows, or 'Dad, you can't go out to _______ wearing that' :sml2:

good layout and a nice selection of plants Shaun. They will grow like crazy with the Co2 and fill in the gaps pretty quick
