Today I brought the 6 rasbora from the breeding experiment in to this tank. Thought I'd make yet another movie so you can see them in action. They were quite excited to be a bigger group and you can easily tell the natives from the newbies as the natives are very red but the natives are quite peach still, as they came from a sparse tank. You can also spot the males from the females as the females are almost diamond shaped and fat but the males are quite narrow. It's 2 vids stuck together and the second part is of the loaches. At 1:12 you see a loachy-dash from left to right and further on at about 1:31 I show you their lair, the area behind the wood and under the filter. This is their retreat and where they take snails to eat. I have just made another movie showing the Snail Dash, will upload that one tomorrow.

will it poop out the fur and bones or does it all get digested?

I think Squirt must be expecting some heavy loot for christmas..... apparently such angelic behaviour is common of offspring at this time of year. :roll:

I have 12 CPDs but 4 are 'out' in the breeding tank at present. There are 2 darios. I'm thinking of moving the fry from the breeding tank in here so I can watch it grow and also they feed better when there is competition - currently it's milling about in the tank alone since it's brothers and sisters disappeared.

Clove oil for me, then the whole house can enjoy the smell of going to the dentist at the same time :smln:

I can tell you guys that this tank is more stunning in real life, the photo doesn't give the sense of depth that you see in person. It's a work of art !drool:

I went to see the little poochie the other day, he is so tiny and sweet, very well mannered. Chloe/Ice222 has already taught him to sit, give a paw and he was learning to play dead. By now he's probably making cups of tea and doing water changes.

not bad for second attempt at movie making eh. Next I need to work out how to turn the background sound off. I can add my own soundtrack but it doesn't stop the original one coming through over the top. That will be my holiday homework.

woo hoo welldone the McRuddies and in other news I was informed that the previous information was given in error, they are after all danio erythromicron. So Joe was right after all, and as usual :slfg: and in more news one of my said new fish is FAT, I hope that means new fry sometime soon.
